Putting the Pieces Together Tutoring

Putting the Pieces Together is a private tutoring service for Primary students from Prep to Year 8. Sessions are one on one and catered for individual students needs. I work from my office in Beaumaris or students school.  Where possible, I work in conjunction with the schools to ensure consistency and reinforcement. I have over 25 years experience as a Primary teacher, Special Education teacher and Tutor. I am a qualified MSL/OG therapist in Literacy and Maths.  I specialise in Anxiety, Auditory Processing issues, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum disorders and Downs Syndrome to name a few.
 

After experiencing learning difficulties with my own son, I am aware of how confusing, lost and desperate parents can feel when faced with learning difficulties in their child. There is light at the end of the tunnel and all children will shine given encouragement and the correct tools.  

 

Are you concerned about your child's engagement at school? Every child has a unique learning style with many different factors influencing their individual style. Some of the biggest influences to learning are anxiety, self doubt and unrealistic pressure on themselves. My approach is based on both emotional and academic areas to build confidence and ability.
